I haven't visited here yet, but here are some thought from other posters:

2007: My D lives in the Windsor Terrace area--wonderful neighborhood. The apartment was billed as Park Slope, which is great but pricier. She was near Prospect Park, and just a little south of actual PS.Half the recently graduated world seemed to live nearby. It seemed very safe and a ton of fun.

2005: I have lived there for 20 years and raised a daughter (now 18) in the neighborhood. It is quite safe. Obviously, you have to take precautions as you would in any urban area but overall a great choice.

2004: I am a Brooklynite- Windsor Terrace is a terrific and safe neighborhood very very close to Sunset Park.
